Frank Nico, CAP® ChFC® RICP® CASL®
Frank Nico, CAP® ChFC® RICP® CASL® is our Executive Director. Frank joined CBN-OB Planned Giving in 2006. His leadership experience in global organizations spans over 40 years in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. He has earned multiple professional designations during his tenure at CBN: Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®). Frank feels it is important to integrate the aspirations of donors, in conjunction with their advisors, into a strategic plan that meets the needs of the person, their family and the desired charitable outcome. Steve Googasian, J.D.
Steve Googasian, J.D. is our Senior Gift Planning Strategist. Steve earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit, and is a member of the Michigan bar. He was an Assistant Prosecutor in Detroit, General Counsel & Senior VP, and trust & estate attorney. Steve guided complex gifts of property and businesses at National Christian Foundation, then served 16 supporting organizations, including For Others, Love Thy Neighbor Too, and Sacred Harvest ($1.3B). An ordained Elder, Steve served Kairos Prison Ministries, Indianapolis Great Banquet, and on the University of Michigan English Advisory Board. Contact Steve: [email protected].
Bridget Hart, J.D.
Bridget Hart, J.D. is our Senior Planned Giving Specialist. Bridget has a Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, a B.A. in Economics and Business Management, and is a member of the Pennsylvania bar. She previously led Development and Planned Giving efforts at two hospitals in Washington, DC, and at two national medical-research nonprofits headquartered in Maryland and Oregon. Prior to entering the nonprofit world in 2004, she worked in securities compliance for an investment advisory firm in Bethesda, Maryland. Contact Bridget: [email protected].
Max Bales
Max Bales is our Planned Giving Specialist. Max received his B.S. from Purdue University and has served on Purdue's Alumni Board of Directors. He previously handled planned and major gift responsibilities at Purdue, Virginia Tech University, the American Red Cross and the Arthritis Foundation. Max has spent his entire career in the nonprofit sector, including having begun his career in 1990 with the Indiana Farm Bureau. Contact Max: [email protected].
